ADRIENNE KURZAWA

Acrylic and Mixed Media Artist

Adrienne is a New Jersey based emerging artist working in acrylic and mixed media creating abstract
compositions that express the interconnectedness between material, emotion, spirit, and the psyche. With over 20 years of
experience as an Art Therapist and Mental health practitioner, her work is greatly informed by the emotional struggles of
individuals as well as her own insights.

She submerged herself in the study of psychology and art as an undergrad at Kutztown University in PA, later obtaining a
Master’s in Art Therapy from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn NY, and a Masters of
Counseling from Seton Hall University in NJ.

Adrienne is interested in bringing awareness to her work as an artist but furthermore as an advocate for Mental Health.
Adrienne hopes her work sparks viewers to look deeper into how art and the artistic process goes beyond the canvas and
can bring us together to experience a universal phenomenon that connects us all to our mind, body, and spirit and
ultimately to what is true and real – in a world that often forgets.
